Toronto wants to be as "gay as it gets". At least that's the message of a controversial new ad campaign for this year's Gay Pride Week that kicked off in Toronto on Monday.   The campaign is designed to bring wealthy American gay tourists and their wallets up to the great white north. Where can you find this ad? Right above the urinals of men's washrooms in gay bars across the U.S. in cities like Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.   While some Torontonians embrace it, "Toronto is way behind other cities. Gay tourism is a huge industry and tons of American tourists come here anyway." Others don't like the idea, "I don't think its right, because we're not all gays in Toronto." The whole endorsement costs $300,000 and is expected to run until the end of the summer. SORRY if you are offended!
