Manifesto recap - PERSONAL OPINION....

I took maybe three pictures.

Ill be more than happy to point you in a direction to view photos if that it the purpose for your visit.

Anyways as I started getting into the whole picture taking thing I had a conversation with my boy about graffiti.

Do I take pics of all the sets or fuck it? FUCK IT Why? Graffiti is meant to be in alleys and at night so when the sun comes up it’s seen, a surprise. Inconspicuous and not a ‘show’ for the city to be able to say 'see, we get down with the urban communities'. These pieces wont even be left near city hall where they were done, they will be brought to a rec center or some unknown location. Of course I am happy that graffiti and its artist and finally getting the recognition it/they deserves and I was happy to watch these people turn nothing into something then change it again into something great. But I'd rather go around Toronto and take pics of pieces for y'all.

Ugh I somewhat feel really 'conscious' when rereading that and it is not meant in that way. I respect the craft and how far it has come but didnt want to take pics in such a mainstream environment.

Oh and thank you Ronnie for helping Keesh figure out what they all said.

Here is a pic just to give you a feel of how it was set up.

Asians working out right downtown. I thought they were dancing...
These kids were so cute, Ill put the video up of them dancing.
Toronto performer. Please note the outfit....this is why I cant support it...ur wearing a baby plaid knapsack and a plaid skirt that has some french maid thing on it, knee high fish nets..This is about the time we ran to buy beer and drink out of Mickey Dee's cups at city hall. We had to drink if we were going to spend more time listening to 'cause' music and looking at Wu-tang tees.

This is my friend. He is showing me the secret pendant he uses to get all the ladies...did I mention he is Asian? AMAZING.
