Black-Marmalade Studios was born in the fall of 2004 as a way for DeChazier P. Stokes-Johnson to have a change of pace from the sometimes static life being an art director at a advertising agency brings. Since then DeChazier has art directed, designed, & illustrated, for some of today's top brands. He is a proud family man,art director, observer of creative culture, and entrepreneur,in that order. He tries hard everyday to attain a healthy balance between them all even though he knows pure balance is unattainable.
