The world is changing...

For Summer 2009, Teamworks presents a minimalist collection inspired by the lean and unsteady times being experienced the world over. The “Peace Leaf” represents the personal tranquility that can be achieved by herbal introspection; something the world needs much more of, while the “Air Liberty” is a cheeky commentary on the commodification of American societal ideals. Both were created by Alexander Dawson, who also did the Teamworks “T” from Fall 2008. “The Rose” by Damon Johnson is a simple yet iconic symbol of both the beauty and the struggle of life, the blooming flower representing the goal while the stem represents the path and the blood shed along the way. Finally, “Thirteen” is a warning; bad luck is just a mental trap and believing in it is a way to make sure you never reach your goals, especially in the big apple. In addition to these pieces, Teamworks has also updated its classic logo tee in three color ways. This seasons lookbook was shot by Takuya Sakamoto.
