EATMEBAILEY!

I do not watch tv. I haven't even plugged in my tv since I've moved in. I am either on my computer, working, sleeping, cleaning, fat snacking or reading.

this was the best book ever.  Lionel Essrog the main character is a detective with tourettes trying to find the killer of his mentor. He has no family, never left Brooklyn and no one listens to him. Learn more here. Also rumors that Edward Norton is turning this novel into a movie... Kind of excited. Might even watch it.

How racist are you?

A long time I read this book Two Nations that was on some real shit basically saying Whites are the real criminals, with statistics and all. So anyways recently profiled by the New York Times a University of Chicago psychology test apparently can tell you how you racist you are. Try it here . You'll see 100 images of either white or black guys carrying either a gun, soda, wallet or cell phone. You loose points for taking too long...I am sorry but if we are alone waiting for the train and your crouching in the corner with a black cell phone looking crazy I will not hesitate, no matter the race. haha.

BOOOKKKKSSSS!!!!

With some down time after the holidays I was able to get in some reading...The two books I read were - The Art Of Undress by Stephanie Lehmann and The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things - JT Leroy.

The Art of Undress was a quick plane read but not much to mention, the real focus is on the novel by JT Leroy 'The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things'...HOLY FUCKING SHIT! This book was actually ridiculous. I decided to pick up this book after hearing the story about JT Leroy who wrote best selling novels based on his life all the time fooling the world...There was no JT Leroy - he was too a character...Leroy fooled Vogue, NY Times and many more credited reviewers. The imagination of Leroy is without a doubt astounding. After the book did so well a movie was also done. So those who hate to read watch the trailer. This will mess your head up.

A definite read. Going to go get Sarah - also written by Leroy.

Assholes Finish First

Yes it is true...We all know it and our good friend Tucker Max has written another book that I'm sure is going to be AMAZING! The book will be about 20 stories, all of them brand new and never before published. Plus, there are going to be two appendixes at the end that will be shockingly awesome. Just wait and see. - Max

Learn something...

Read the Dictionary of Symbols....

"In art, literature, film and life, even the littlest image or reference can open a world of interpretation....(ex; oranges, a fertility symbol, are given to young married couples in Vietnam; and in Ancient China a formal offer of marriage was accompanied by a gift of oranges to the girl)."

SKINEMA

This book has been making some noise for the past little while and finally now that I am motherfucking graduate I can get back to my books and read more...Last month was Max Tucker (ammmahhzing!) this month if you haven't already pick it up is Skinema by Chris Nieratko.

If you want to get a feel for his writing check a few links below and see the excerpt I put up from a Vice article about his thoughts on going with his pregnant wife to Hawaii.

You can buy it at you neighborhood chapters/indigo or online at American ApPOOrel, or Vice Land.

I hope they serve beer in hell

This is the best book I've bought all year by far. I was at the airport and this book caught my eye (obviously look at the cover), then I read the back

' My name is Tucker Max, and I am an asshole. I get excessively drunk at inappropriate times, disregard social norms, indulge every whim, ignore the consequences of my actions, mock idiots and posers, sleep with more women than is safe or reasonable, and just generally act like a raging dickhead. But, I do contribute to humanity in one very important way: I share my adventures with the world.'

How could I not?? I was dying - actually laughing very loud by myself the entire flight.
Blow jobs, puking, sex and being an all around asshole. But if you are a prude, feminist, or sensitive to morbidly funny jokes then forget it and watch American Idol instead.

Check his website also and browse through the stories for a feel

SUMMER FUN!

Okay so its been a few months since I've even mentioned a book (between school, life, work changes etc Ive read my organizational behaviour or accounting II book in my 'spare' time and when I do have an hour for some me time I usually end up on the internet zoning...

I am soooo excited about this, I saw it in the Detroit airport but it was hardcover and I had my macbook so I decided to wait until I got home to grab it. If you look at the pic above you will notice I have the entire series plus the holiday series.

In her rollicking 13th Stephanie Plum adventure (after Twelve Sharp), bestseller Evanovich is in top, quirky form. Plucky, bumbling New Jersey bounty hunter Plum is reunited with her two-timing lawyer ex-husband, Dickie Orr, while doing a favor for the mysterious, sexy Ranger. But when Dickie disappears from his house leaving behind only bloodstains and bullet holes, Plum becomes the prime suspect in his alleged murder. Determined to clear her name, Plum and her on-again off-again Trenton cop boyfriend, the irresistible Joe Morelli, uncover Dickie's ties to a shady group of men involved in everything from money laundering to drug running. And when Dickie's jilted business partners decide Stephanie holds the key to the $40 million they believe Dickie stole from them, she's in for a wild ride. With the author's usual cast of eccentric side characters—everything from a taxidermist with a penchant for bombs to a grave-robbing tax man—Evanovich proves once again that Stephanie Plum and her entourage are here to stay.
